 At Malia,  there are  nicer creeks though westwards, white sand and turquoise water, packed with coconut-scented half-naked bodies and there is plenty to watch: jet-ski exhibitions, paragliding, banana-boat riding, spontaneous strip-shows (a consequence of too many beers under the sun).You have to walk east from the main beach to find slightly more isolated spots to unfold your towel .

The beach front is extensive and runs about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) between Stalida and Malia. You’ll find plenty of water sports here, including jet ski and paragliding.

The sandy beach of Malia is located west of the archaeological site.

If one leaves the market hall by the north exit, a walk offers itself toward Fischer and yachting port. Numerous business and fashion shops invite to expanded Shopping strolling.
